Well, things didn't go well this evening. After mixing the red on the subject's top, I dropped a big blob of it on the neck. After taking a deep breath, I was able to get most of it up. I should have seen that as an omen and stopped for the night. I use gravity when I paint a wash, particularly red because it streaks so easily. So I was painting the shirt upside down and missed my pencil line. I painted too high up on the neck. In the photo I point to it. I don't know how I am going to resolve that. So now I am stopping.

 I completed the eye areas. I had to replace the maskoid on the eye glasses because the old maskoid had been on the paper too long. I had to change brands as I was out of my favorite. Interesting that this brand is the color of the actual frames. I am still working on the lips. I think I am done with the neck shading.
