This is the first paint on this portrait. It will have a limited palette consisting of red, indigo blue and white (which are the Norwegian flag colors), plus skin tones. The subject's heritage is Norwegian. The reflections in her sunglasses are taken from one of her original lino prints. I think it will be fun.
