I realized the eyes were to dark. Doing this one eye at a time, I carefully laid a drop of water on the iris and watched it until it started to dry, then blotted it with the napkin you see in the photo. I did this twice with each eye. I will have to go back and darken the pupils and maybe tweek the irises a little more. I have not shaded the eyeballs yet. That is one reason the eyes look artificial. I also darkened the hair. I don't think the model's hair is this dark, but the painting needs more contrast. Once I am sure the hair is done, I will remove the Maskoid from the two figures so they can be painted.
