Sweetgum Tree

I recently found out that I was mislabeling this seed pod. I thought it came from a Hawthorne tree and also called a “gumball tree”. Well, I guess I will never be an Arborist or someone who does a good job of online research. Nonetheless, I finished the drawing about 15 minutes ago. Woohoo! It is 42″x24″ and will sit with the sunflower drawing until I do one more drawing. Then I will trace them all onto watercolor paper and start painting.
