I decided to transfer those two drawings to watercolor paper and paint. I had the right size paper for the sunflower. But the Sweetgum ball was an odd size at 51”x28”, so I finally had to break down and open my sacred 51”x 11 yd. roll of cold press 300 lb. paper that I had been saving for just such a problem. In this photo I have already saturated it with water to flatten it out and am letting it hang until dry. That will take a number of hours.
