I am so excited! I have discovered a “new” brush that I love for average to broad washes. You can see it here. It glides like butter. Usually I only use Hake brushes for moderate to large areas. Flats are too square on the corners and they aren’t soft enough. This is called an “oval black velvet” from the Dick Blick catalog.
