I have been struggling with this painting. It is not working. I made some corrections and now the leaves look better although they are still not finished. I am just going to move on and come back to these leaves later. Maybe I can save it…maybe not. Right now I just want to finish it so I can move on to other things. It was suggested that I put this painting away, paint something else and then come back to it. I wish I could. I have 8-9 mixing trays. When I am working on a painting, I never throw out a color I am using until the work in finished. (It just takes too long to remix a duplicate color.) I actually have no other mixing trays to start a new painting.
