I finished the green glaze on the smallest plant. Now I am going to switch to painting the pots…as soon as I figure out their colors. I will play with my palette today. I’m thinking of using red, yellow and blue in brownish hues.

Although I have done a lot of painting on this, the entire work still looks washed out and pale. That is part of my strategy to build up layers for three dimensionality. Then I will go in for the “kill” with my darkest colors and shading. But even I get impatient.
