Today I decided to airbrush through some different fabrics to see if I could come up with a more interesting background for Bonsai #1. I used red simply because it was available not because I would use it in the actual painting. I taped down the fabric samples and sprayed them. After everything was dry I removed the fabric to see the patterns they created.
