This is my next painting. It is based on a plant called a "Desert Rose". They can't tolerate temperatures under 50 degrees. Their trunks can be very peculiar as is the case of this one. I am growing several right now.

I blocked off the white border with painters tape and used maskoid in some areas so I can begin painting the background.
