Bonsai tree

This is the first of 3 finished drawings. It is a bonsai tree, based on a photo I took at a botanical garden in Denver. I haven’t drawn in the greenery because I will do that with paint. Consider it a background for the people I will put in it. I will start adding figures this week. (I always do my drawings on a roll of butchers paper since I just throw the drawings away after I trace them onto watercolor paper.)
