Sometimes it is a sad day when I finish a painting that I have spent a lot of time on. That is the case with #10. I became attached to it because I had to solve a lot of problems that only the painting and I know. I don't have an emotional connection with it, just technical. Here is the finished work and a photo of all my worksheets for this painting.
My mixing trays, buckets, brushes have been cleaned and put away. I know what the next work will be and hope to paint it this year, but I need to first spend some time preparing for my show in October. For awhile I will talk about those preparations.
