Minutia

I have been dealing with minutia: the color of the slab, the canoe, the spiral, umbrella, the turkey (yes, I said turkey.) I am in the dreaded place where I have worked too long on this painting to allow it to fail. So I am being very careful. Of course, I could still accidentally drop a paint brush on it. I have done that a few times in my life and ruined several paintings that way. But I try and keep the whole surface covered except for the area on which I am actually painting.

I am still pondering what color to use on the people. Hum.
