Today I needed to broil four pork chops that had been in the
meat keeper several days. I know it’s not a good idea to cook and paint at the
same time, but I put them in the oven and set the timer. Then I went back to my
studio to work. I didn’t hear the timer go off but I still got them turned over
before they were totally done. Later my husband hollered that the house was
full of smoke and my meat was on fire. Sigh. It would be pretty funny if,
whenever I display that sunflower painting, people comment that it smells like
pork chops. lol
