Finally I’m back! I waited and waited for inspiration. But I could never visualize the right color for the figures in the pod painting. (That was very unusual.) The problem was that some of the figures existed in a light background and others were in a dark one. So what colors would work for both? In an effort to speed things up I traced some of the people, colored them with colored pencils in colors that had the possibility of working, and laid them on the painting to see which combination worked. And voila! I was able to choose a color and will begin painting tomorrow. I am including the three traced sets and what each looked like on the painting. When I am finished painting I will show you the color I picked. For now you will have to guess.
